For quite a while Sophie offered herself to the camera according to my guidance, being the gorgeous young film maker and stage actress that she is. And then there was an inevitable break in the shutter noise. During that short window, Sophie took a pause. I saw an unguarded moment where there was virtually no called for expression on her face and I took one more photograph. I love the image because it reveals the essential lady.
