When I met Sherry, she and I spoke about her challenges within the Aboriginal Community, residents living near Sydney’s Central Business District. It struck me how determined Sherry was. She now cared for her extended family & was immersed in thoughts of her son, whose forthcoming return gave her hope. The look in Sherry’s beautiful eyes and her aboriginal heritage make this portrait striking.
